With the sun blooming over a new day in warm sunny yellow,
With the sun slipping into dusk with colours all
mellow..
The petals of a rose,
A few pages of prose..
The glare of an intent eye,
The warmth of a freshly baked pie ..
A traffic light as I walk by ,
A number plate of a car passing by..
To hear the sound of an oft repeated word,
A hint of a smile by memories stirred..
Windows dripping from recent rains,
Certains songs and melody strains..
The gentle breeze , and the swaying trees
The pale pink hue of early dawn's sky
The deep dark blue of the midnight sky
